Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital transformation, business infrastructure, and the existence of village events on community economic growth, with skill education as a mediating variable in Tinanding Village, Godong District, Grobogan Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consisted of 226 MSME actors in Tinanding Village, with a sample of 145 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires with a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS. The analysis included the evaluation of the measurement model, structural model, direct effects, and indirect effects. The results indicate that digital transformation has a negative and significant effect on skill education, while business infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on skill education. The existence of village events does not have a significant effect on skill education. Furthermore, digital transformation does not have a significant effect on community economic growth, whereas business infrastructure has a positive and significant effect. The existence of village events and skill education do not have significant direct effects on community economic growth. Skill education also does not significantly mediate the effects of digital transformation, business infrastructure, or village events on community economic growth. These findings indicate that the development of a Smart Village requires not only digital technology and village activities but also adequate business infrastructure and the ability of local communities to utilize available resources productively.
